eya teman² .. ketemu lagi sama aku putri wahyuni. nahh kali ini kita bakalan mempelajari tentang salah satu bagian dari linguistik, yaitu syntax. nah kalian pasti penasaran kan apa itu syntax, yukk kita simak sama².
Syntax/sintaksis itu apa sih?
Jadi teman²..Dalam linguistik, kata syntax berasal dari bahasa Yunani yang merupakan gabungan dari kata "syn" yang berarti “bersama”, dan kata "taxis" yang berarti “rangkaian”, “urutan”. Jadi syntax adalah salah satu dari cabang ilmu linguistik yang mempelajari kaidah yang menentukan bagaimana kata membentuk frasa dan frasa membentuk kalimat. Secara etimologis istilah syntax adalah menempatkan bersama kata-kata menjadi kelompok kata atau kalimat dan kelompok-kelompok kata menjadi kalimat.
- dalam sintaksis, ada beberapa bagian dari struktur kalimat yang akan penulis jelaskan, yaitu subject,verb,object,complement,dan adverb.ada dua bagian kalimat yang sangat penting dalam menganalisis syntax yaitu : frasa dan clausa.
Apa itu frasa(phrase)?
jadi teman² frasa itu merupakan suatu unit pada sebuah kalimat. frasa atau phrase terbagi dalam beberapa bagian yaitu:
1.Frasa nomina(noun phrase)
adalah frasa yang berasal dari kata benda (nouns) yang berfungsi sebagai subjek atau objek kalimat. Frasa nomina adalah suatu nomina atau pronominal yang didahului oleh determinan atau kata sandang atau suatu nomina yang didahului oleh satu atau lebih adjektiva yang keseluruhanya didahului kata sandang. Contoh :
a. the cat
the = det
cat = noun
b. a handsome boy
a= det
handsome= adjective
boy = noun
2.frasa verba (verb phrase)
adalah frasa yang terdiri dari gabungan kata kerja bantu( auxiliary verb) dengan kata kerja (verbs).Frasa verba terdiri dari frasa tunggal yang terkadang merupakan gabungan dari main verb ( verba utama) dan auxiliary verb ( kata kerja bantu), namun dapat pula ditambahkan specifiers, complements, dan adjuncts. Contoh :
a.citra has taken the job.
has= aux
taken= verb
b.dika has been coming lateeveryday
has been = aux
coming = verb
3. Frasa Adjektiva (Adjective Phrase)
Frasa kata sifat atau adjektiva adalah frasa yang berasal dari kata sifat yang digunakan untuk memberi sifat kepada kata benda (nouns) atau kata ganti (pronoun). contohnya:
a. edward lost his dark brown guitar.
dark brown = adjective pronoun.
4. Frasa Adverbial (Adverb Phrase)
Frasa adverbial adalah frasa yang berfungsi sebagai kata keterangan yang digunakan untuk menerangkan kata kerja (verbs).
a.putri usually plays volly ball.
usuallly=Adverb phrase.
5.frasa preposisi
adalah frasa yang terdiri atas kata depan dengan kata lain sebagai unsur penjelas.
contoh :
a.The book on the bathroom floor is swollen from shower steam.
on the bathroom floor = prepositon prhase
Discussing about syntax is the arrangement of words so that it can become a sentence. how are phrases, clauses and sentences related? Explain!😉
